  15.             Notice to User:
  16.             This is a contract. By installing this software you accept all the 
  17.             terms and conditions of this agreement. 
  18.             This Adobe Systems Incorporated ("Adobe") End User License Agreement 
  19.             accompanies the Adobe« Acrobat« Reader product and related 
  20.             explanatory materials ("Software"). The term "Software" also shall 
  21.             include any upgrades, modified versions or updates of the Software 
  22.             licensed to you by Adobe. Please read this Agreement carefully. At 
  23.             the end, you will be asked to accept this agreement and continue to 
  24.             install or, if you do not wish to accept this Agreement, to decline 
  25.             this agreement, in which case you will not be able to use the 
  26.             Software.
  27.             Upon your acceptance of this Agreement, Adobe grants to you a 
  28.             nonexclusive license to use the Software, provided that you agree to 
  29.             the following:
  30.             1. Use of the Software.
  31.             - You may install the Software on a hard disk or other storage 
  32.             device; install and use the Software on a file server for use on a 
  33.             network for the purposes of (i) permanent installation onto hard 
  34.             disks or other storage devices or (ii) use of the Software over such 
  35.             network; and make backup copies of the Software.
  36.             - You may make and distribute unlimited copies of the Software, 
  37.             including copies for commercial distribution, as long as each copy 
  38.             that you make and distribute contains this Agreement and the same 
  39.             copyright and other proprietary notices pertaining to this Software 
  40.             that appear in the Software. If you download the Software from the 
  41.             Internet or similar on-line source, you must include the Adobe 
  42.             copyright notice for the Software with any on-line distribution and 
  43.             on any media you distribute that includes the Software.
  44.             2. Copyright and Trademark Rights. The Software is owned by Adobe 
  45.             and its suppliers, and its structure, organization and code are the 
  46.             valuable trade secrets of Adobe and its suppliers. The Software also 
  47.             is protected by United States Copyright Law and International Treaty 
  48.             provisions. You may use trademarks only insofar as required to 
  49.             comply with Section 1 of this Agreement and to identify printed 
  50.             output produced by the Software, in accordance with accepted 
  51.             trademark practice, including identification of trademark owner's 
  52.             name. Such use of any trademark does not give you any rights of 
  53.             ownership in that trademark. Except as stated above, this Agreement 
  54.             does not grant you any intellectual property rights in the Software.
  55.             3. Restrictions. You agree not to modify, adapt, translate, reverse 
  56.             engineer, decompile, disassemble or otherwise attempt to discover 
  57.             the source code of the Software. Although you may customize the 
  58.             installer for the Software as documented on the Adobe Acrobat Reader 
  59.             CD-ROM (e.g., installation of additional plug-in and help files), 
  60.             you may not otherwise alter or modify the installer program or 
  61.             create a new installer for the Software. The Software is licensed 
  62.             and distributed by Adobe for viewing, distributing and sharing PDF 
  63.             files. Any plug-in or enhancement that permits you to save 
  64.             modifications to a PDF file may not be used with the Software.
  65.             4. No Warranty. The Software is being delivered to you AS IS and 
  66.             Adobe makes no warranty as to its use or performance. ADOBE AND ITS 
  67.             SUPPLIERS DO NOT AND CANNOT WARRANT THE PERFORMANCE OR RESULTS YOU 
  68.             MAY OBTAIN BY USING THE SOFTWARE OR DOCUMENTATION. ADOBE AND ITS 
  69.             SUPPLIERS MAKE NO WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, AS TO 
  70.             NONINFRINGEMENT OF THIRD PARTY RIGHTS, MERCHANTABILITY, OR FITNESS 
  71.             FOR ANY PARTICULAR PURPOSE. IN NO EVENT WILL ADOBE OR ITS SUPPLIERS 
  72.             BE LIABLE TO YOU FOR ANY CONSEQUENTIAL, INCIDENTAL OR SPECIAL 
  73.             DAMAGES, INCLUDING ANY LOST PROFITS OR LOST SAVINGS, EVEN IF AN 
  74.             ADOBE REPRESENTATIVE HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH 
  75.             DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY CLAIM BY ANY THIRD PARTY. Some states or 
  76.             jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of 
  77.             incidental, consequential or special damages, or the exclusion of 
  78.             implied warranties or limitations on how long an implied warranty 
  79.             may last, so the above limitations may not apply to you.
  80.             5. Governing Law and General Provisions. This Agreement will be 
  81.             governed by the laws of the State of California, U.S.A., excluding 
  82.             the application of its conflicts of law rules. This Agreement will 
  83.             not be governed by the United Nations Convention on Contracts for 
  84.             the International Sale of Goods, the application of which is 
  85.             expressly excluded. If any part of this Agreement is found void and 
  86.             unenforceable, it will not affect the validity of the balance of the 
  87.             Agreement, which shall remain valid and enforceable according to its 
  88.             terms. You agree that the Software will not be shipped, transferred 
  89.             or exported into any country or used in any manner prohibited by the 
  90.             United States Export Administration Act or any other export laws, 
  91.             restrictions or regulations. This Agreement shall automatically 
  92.             terminate upon failure by you to comply with its terms. This 
  93.             Agreement may only be modified in writing signed by an authorized 
  94.             officer of Adobe.
  95.             6. Notice to Government End Users. The Software and Documentation 
  96.             are "Commercial Items," as that term is defined at 48 C.F.R. ▀2.101, 
  97.             consisting of "Commercial Computer Software" and "Commercial 
  98.             Computer Software Documentation," as such terms are used in 48 
  99.             C.F.R. ▀12.212 or 48 C.F.R. ▀227.7202, as applicable. Consistent 
  100.             with 48 C.F.R. ▀12.212 or 48 C.F.R. ▀▀227.7202-1 through 227.7202-4, 
  101.             as applicable, the Commercial Computer Software and Commercial 
  102.             Computer Software Documentation are being licensed to U.S. 
  103.             Government end users (A) only as Commercial Items and (B) with only 
  104.             those rights as are granted to all other end users pursuant to the 
  105.             terms and conditions herein.
